Then the Musician's Quest may be for you!

In this quest we will explore how to move beyond our musical knowledge, personality and technical skills, beyond the intellect into more unknown, intuitive territory; how to trust this moment and be an open channel, and let the magic flow through us. We will deepen our intention for making music and come closer to our essential musical gift and purpose.

A great Zen painter was once asked, how he had become such an amazing and complete painter? His answer was: «It first took me 9 years to learn all the techniques available, and then it took me another 9 years to forget them all. Only then I really was a painter.»
This means that first learning and later unlearning are both necessary phases on the way to mastery, the way to a natural, individual expression of your whole Being.

* create music for ceremony and meditation
* sound healing
* flow of creativity

* music and space, sound and silence
* giving and receiving feedback

From Praful's endless love for music, his vast experience in different musical worlds and situations, and his own evolution as a human being, Praful's passion and intention is to support you in honing your musical gift.

This quest/training is for advanced and professional musicians and singers. It is not for beginners.


SUPPORT TEAM:
— Vimal Gabrielsen will be present in some of the sessions, lead a cacao ceremony and (guided) meditations
— Movement coach Peter van der Burgh will offer a daily flow movement/yoga session to connect to our bodies and stimulate creativity
— Meike van der Burgh-Smit will provide us with lovely organic, vegetarian meals

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

PRICES:
1345 € with shared accommodation (double rooms with separate beds)
1495 € with single accommodation
(the price for the training is 750 €, the rest is for accommodation, catering, VAT and tourist tax)

The prices include full board with accommodation and catering. There is also a sauna, which we can use.

Each participant is asked to bring his/her own instrument(s). A Roland FP80 stage piano will be there. Singers/vocalists are also very welcome!

The quest will be intimate and limited to a maximum of 12 participants, so that the people can play together in different combinations and there will be plenty of time to focus on each person. During the 6 days, there will be the possibility of an individual session of ± 30 minutes for each participant with Praful (included in the price).

The venue is situated in a beautiful, quiet countryside in the center of the Netherlands, in the province of Drenthe. The group will have an entire building for itself and be undisturbed.

Travel by public transport:
The nearest train station is Meppel, there are frequent trains from Amsterdam (Schiphol) airport (AMS), which is the nearest international airport. There is also a train connection from Duesseldorf airport (DUS) in Germany with a change in Utrecht. There will be a shuttle/pickup service provided on the days of arrival and departure
