Red Fulka Single Release — Soul on Fire

With a blasting short concert during SHINE Party at Club Lite Amsterdam, Red Fulka released on 21 February 2015 their first new songs since their album release We Are One in 2011 — Soul on Fire, Orchestre d'Amour and Orchestre d'Amour (Kareem Raihani Remix), are available now via the label Shining Music (release 004), on Bandcamp and at all major download stores worldwide. Red Fulka went even deeper and more sacred this time, without loosing the Red Fulka signature sound of blending world music and acoustic instruments with electronic elements. On Soul on Fire, a song with a slight Reggae feel to it, Praful, Kareem and guest singer Pratibha invite you to 'Listen with your body, listen with your Heart — Dance, your Soul is on Fire'. Then Praful plays a 'brilliant' tenor sax solo which leads into an orchestrated, oriental-sounding melody. On Orchestre d'Amour, the duo explores new ways of creating moving music without using any drums or percussion — just with natural instruments like different flutes, electronic sounds and tribal voices. On his remix, Kareem adds some extra spice to this piece by turning it into a dub step floor cracker. Enjoy!
